Who’s Coming with You?

Let’s be honest. Right now you may be planning for a foursome or two. But someday you may want to go all out and plan a reunion for your high school golf team, fraternity, or extended family. Pairings, scoring, and tee times are easy enough to organize on the Unknown Golf app that it’s totally feasible. Just saying… In fact, you can use the app to send everyone an email to remind them of their tee times.

Choose a Format (or2)

Will you stick with stroke play or match play? Scramble or Stableford? If you’re playing multiple rounds over multiple days, you could mix it up and try multiple formats on the same course. What’s a friendly competition without a little banter? Make the trip and the game more interesting with some challenges and side games. This provides additional opportunities to talk trash, earn bragging rights, and make memories. Make up your own challenge or choose from any of these tried-and-true options:

Unknown Golf keeps track of who owes what to whom. Not like a mob boss keeps track of those kinds of things, though. Nobody will swim with fishes… unless there’s an unfortunate water hazard situation.

Who’s Leading Who?

Using a golf scoring app ensures the leaderboard stays current and players stay honest. It also eliminates having to do math at the end of a round or keep track of one of those little pencils for 18 holes.

Here’s the coolest part about setting up players on the leaderboard in Unknown Golf: you can automatically pull in their handicaps and other relevant information from GHIN. You don’t have to, if you’re keeping things casual, but you can!

Pics or It Didn’t Happen

Don’t assume you’ll remember all the great times or great shots you had on the trip. You need pictures to prove you played golf, receipts to show you sank the putt, and scores to show you shot at least one hole under par.
